COVID-19: Postponing Intertool 2020
The effects of the corona virus (COVID-19) are currently a particularly challenging situation for the entire trade fair and event industry. In view of the latest developments, the Austrian Federal Government has presented a package of measures that also includes the ban on events. For the time being, this decree affects all events of Reed Exhibitions Austria.

Together with the advisory board, we agreed that instead of the planned Intertool appointment (May 12-15, 2020) there will be an industry event in autumn 2020 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Intertool. A shift to spring 2021 is not possible due to scheduling reasons and due to the booking situation in the event venues in Austria that are eligible for this event. In the coming days, we will coordinate the next steps with other players in the industry and will send you the next information.

With the Smart advisory board, we made the decision not to implement this year's edition of the Vienna Smart Automation as planned. There is no alternative date because the Smart will take place in Linz in spring 2021.
