REHAB is one of the world’s leading trade fairs for rehabilitation, therapy, care and inclusion.

From 15 to 17 June 2023, the three days of the event across the fully accessible grounds of the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre was dedicated to experiencing, trying out and discussing the latest innovations. As it prepared to open its doors for the 22nd time, REHAB Karlsruhe has developed a wide audience. It welcomes industry specialists like therapists, doctors, professional carers and representatives from the healthcare retail sector. But it is also open to people with disabilities, their families and carers, as well as representatives of institutes and associations. They all come to find out about the latest trends and innovations in rehabilitation and orthopaedic treatments, along with new methods of therapy and care provision. The three exhibition halls showcased around 300 exhibitors from 16 countries, all eagered to present their innovations from active wheelchairs to power attachments. Another key element of this year’s event was professional development. Seminars and similar events took place in the exhibition forums, at the CON.THERA therapy conference and at the annual conferences of the German Association of Bobath Therapists.

With a high number of producers and retailers, countless market leaders and renowned healthcare suppliers participating, the event offers an excellent range of products. Whether you are an industry visitor or someone affected by disability, you were able to test out hundreds of brand-new and wide-ranging aids in person, compare them, and discuss your own care and therapy needs. Countless experts and self-help groups were on hand across the eleven topic-based marketplaces. There also were three stages for presentations, discussions and workshops focusing on overarching topics and trends in aid provision.

REHAB Karlsruhe is all about inspiration and showcasing technical innovations that improve quality of life and participation for people with disabilities. Held every two years, it has developed into the most important platform for premium mobility and children’s aids from Germany and across Europe, and has become one of the highlights in the calendar for the sector. The next REHAB will be from 22 to 24 May 2025.
