      专业学术部分的坚强阵容讲师团几乎囊括了当代艺术界的佼佼者与收藏家,并且提供学院与专业的授课认证制度,超过250位的讲师群,主办单位提供交通食宿以及每场数百欧元的讲师费,不计成本地邀请其他重要艺术机构如artforum杂志和tacshen出版社等参加,在让人惊叹ARCO雄厚的财力后盾与毫不马虎的专业规划。ARCO的主题国家馆,吸引了画廊业界以及该国的参与兴致,以国家的主题呈现当地艺术发展的现况,所推销的不仅是艺术家与艺术品还有国家的形象,相对的也增加ARCO的经费充裕运用契机。

      The 44th edition of the International Contemporary Art Fair, ARCOmadrid, which closes its doors this evening, is expected to have exceed a total of 95,000 visitors.

      VISUAL ConTENT OF ARCOmadrid 2025

      ARCOmadrid, organised by IFEMA MADRID, closes its 44th edition this evening reporting positive results in terms of attendance and commercial activity, with a special emphasis on the exceptionally high-quality content, which has attracted a highly active national and international collector base.

      ARCOmadrid, which once again had the support of the Royal Family with the presence last 5 March of the King and Queen of Spain during the opening ceremony, expects to exceed a total of 95,000 visitors. Likewise, the high level of professional attendance has been remarkable, bringing together around 40,000 professionals from around the world.

      With the participation of 214 galleries from 36 countries, the International Contemporary Art Fair, ARCOmadrid, and the city of Madrid gaining prominence and recognition in the current international art scene, establishing themselves as a must-attend event for the art market in Spain and key meeting point for connections and exchanges between Europe and Latin America.

      On this occasion, 178 galleries made up the General Programme, in addition to the curated sections: Wametisé: Ideas for an Amazofuturism, with 15 galleries; Opening. New galleries, with 18, and Profiles | Latin American Art, with 10 galleries.

      Museums, institutions, and major collections have strengthened their presence in this edition, making key acquisitions that highlight the significance of ARCO as a market platform and meeting point for the sector.

      Following the first few days dedicated exclusively to collectors and professionals, ARCOmadrid has registered important institutional and corporate, acquisitions, among which are those by the Ministry of Culture and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía; the Ministry for Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge (MITECO) and the Ministry of Culture, the Fundación ARCO; the Community of Madrid; the Madrid City Council; the Junta de Andalucía; the Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson; the Fundación Sorigué; the Fundación María José Jove Art Centre, and the Rucandio Collection, among many others.

      As is customary, national and international institutions and companies share their support and recognition for artistic creation in ARCOmadrid, through the sponsorship of art awards.

      Belgian based gallery Meessen was awarded the Lexus Award for Best Booth and artistic content at ARCOmadrid 2025. The 20th ARCO/BEEP Award for Electronic Art 2025 was awarded to Eduardo Kac -gallery Henrique Faria-. The artist Monica Mays -galleries Pedro Cera and Blue Velvet-, was awarded the 9th Cervezas Alhambra Award for Emerging Art. The 18th illy SustainArt Award was awarded to Claudia Pagès -Àngels Barcelona-. The Young Talent Award in Opening. New galleries, in collaboration with the Banco Sabadell Foundation, recognised artists Jeanne Gaigher, -Reservoir-, and Omar Castillo Alfaro, from Sissi Club.

      Creator Inmaculada Salinas -Rafael Ortiz-, was honoured with the 2nd ENATE-ARCOmadrid 2025 Award. The artist Xie Lei -Meessen-, received the 1st MACAM Acquisition Award. The Majorcan Lara Fluxà -Bombon Projects- received the Pilar Forcada ART Situacions – ARCOmadrid 2025 Award. The Catalina d´Anglade Award was awarded to the artist Álvaro Urbano -Travesía Cuatro-. And the Fundació Úniques granted the Acquisition Award to Lara Fluxà, from Bombon Projects. The artist Lúa Coderch -Àngels Barcelona- received the Acquisitions Award from the Fundació Vila Casas. The 2025 Recognition to a Spanish artist, awarded by Artepuntoes, was awarded to Juana González, from Espacio Mínimo, and Ana de Alvear, from Espacio Valverde, received a special mention. The 11th Opening. New galleries Award was granted to the Colombian gallery Espacio Continuo.

      As a new feature, in this edition, ARCOmadrid has introduced the Juana de Aizpuru Award, which was given to the Krinzinger gallery for its journey through the history of ARCO and its commitment to the fair.

      The 45th edition of ARCOmadrid will be held from 4 to 8 March 2026.
