2026年柏林国际数字医疗专业知识与应用展览会

DMEA 2025 came to a successful close today with record attendance and an impressive program. 20,500 participants attended Europe's leading digital health event over the three days of DMEA to learn about the latest developments in digital healthcare, discover innovative solutions and network with experts from around the world.

With around 900 exhibitors from almost 30 countries, more than 470 speakers and over 200 sessions, DMEA 2025 once again set new records and confirmed its role as Europe's leading platform for digital health.

Digital health in focus: AI, electronic health records and interoperability

The core topics of this year's DMEA reflected the key challenges and opportunities of digitalization in healthcare: artificial intelligence, electronic health records (EHR), interoperability, the use of health data, data security and the digitalization of care were the focus of the congress, the seminars and the exhibitors. There was equally strong interest in practical use cases, innovative products and forward-looking visions among trade visitors from the fields of care, industry, science and politics.

Strong political signals – digitalization as a joint task

One highlight was the keynote address by the Federal Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Karl Lauterbach, on the first day of DMEA. He has once again taken on the patronage of DMEA and said in conclusion: “DMEA is a central component of the digital health revolution. It connects the players who are bringing digitalization to healthcare – where it has an effect. Projects such as electronic patient files, e-prescriptions or telemedicine show: digitalization is not an end in itself, but the key to better health care, more efficient processes and more patient safety.”

Melanie Wendling, Managing Director of bvitg e.V.: "The teams from bvitg and Messe Berlin have outdone themselves again this year: the stage design, the supporting program, DMEA sparks and DMEA nova - it's great to see how DMEA continues to develop and grow every year. DMEA sparks and DMEA nova Award celebrate young talent and outstanding ideas

Young talent was the focus of DMEA sparks. Students and young professionals used the career format to make their first contacts in the industry and learn about entry opportunities in the digital health sector.

The DMEA sparks Award honored outstanding final theses, while the DMEA nova Award recognized innovative start-up ideas. In an exciting pitch competition, 20 finalists presented their concepts and the most convincing idea was chosen as the winner in the final pitch. PAICON was able beat the competition today at noon.

Internationality and diversity at DMEA

The six exhibition halls offered a comprehensive picture of the digital healthcare industry - from established companies such as CompuGroup Medical, Dedalus, ID Information and documentation in Healthcare, medatixx, Meierhofer AG, nexus AG and Telekom Healthcare Solutions to more than 100 start-ups. International participation was stronger than ever: companies from Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Scandinavia, the USA, Canada, Great Britain, Israel, China, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan, among others, presented themselves in numerous country pavilions.

After DMEA 2025 is before DMEA 2026

Even after DMEA, the DMEA online platform will continue to be available to participants for networking and information. Starting in mid-April, many sessions from the DMEA program will also be available as video on demand.

The next DMEA will take place April 21-23, 2026.
