展会报告(Show Reports):
Huge success for “E-Tech Europe 2025”, the fourth edition of the international trade fair dedicated to the battery and electric vehicle manufacturing industry, which came to an end today at BolognaFiere. The two-day event saw a significant turnout of professionals and industry operators, who had the opportunity to visit the stands of over 150 exhibitors from Italy and 13 other countries (France, Germany, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Ireland, Lithuania, Israel, India, United States, China, and Singapore). Among the premieres presented at the fair, Bosch Engineering showcased the brand-new “Stradal-E”, the electric version of Dallara’s “Stradale” sports car. There was also strong interest in the 14 conferences and 2 workshops held, which featured more than 100 high-level speakers addressing topics such as the electrification of heavy-duty vehicles, battery development and recycling, new automotive components, as well as prospects for autonomous vehicles.
“E-Tech Europe 2025” also hosted the third edition of the “Automotive Glass Forum”, a discussion among experts on the latest automotive glass technologies, promoted by Glassonline and Glass-Technology International. For the first time, the exhibition area featured collectives of companies and start-ups organized by Motor Valley Accelerator and the Italian Association for the Automotive Industry Supply Chain (ANFIA), which also hosted 7 “Formula SAE” teams from the international student motorsport engineering design competition. The first edition of the “Bruno Scrosati Award”, promoted by ENEA, was also presented. The award went to Elisa Emanuele, a PhD student at the Politecnico di Milano, for her research project titled “Beyond the surface: 3D-xray imaging for next generation battery diagnostics”. Five thematic focus areas particularly caught the audience’s attention: “Carbon Tech” on carbon and composite material technologies; “Re-Battery” on battery recycling; “Invex” on electric industrial vehicles and machinery; “Auto Recyclers” on the vehicle recycling industry; and “Interiors” on technology and materials for automotive interiors. “Fortronic Electronics Forum 2025” Italy’s main event on power electronics, also took place, organized by the Italian Electronics District Association (ASSODEL).
Prior to “E-Tech Europe”, the day before, there was also popular demand for “Battery Day 2025”, the first conference in Italy dedicated to the battery industry, organized by A151 in collaboration with Battery Industry portal. The event welcomed more than 150 industry professionals and featured around 25 researchers, managers and experts who discussed the challenges of the national electric battery market, amid the demands of the energy transition and strong Asian competition. The Italian Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, Adolfo Urso, sent a personalized message specifically for the scope of the event: “The government is at the forefront in Europe in designing an industrial policy that supports a green transition that is non-ideological and sustainable, capable of balancing environmental needs, competitiveness, and social impact,” Urso said, “Now common resources and a concrete commitment are needed to regain global technological leadership and ensure true strategic autonomy, starting with batteries.”
“We are very satisfied with the results of E-Tech Europe and also with the success of the first edition of Battery Day,” said Marco Pinetti, director of both events. “This double event once again proved to be a unique opportunity for business, networking, and training for all operators involved in the energy transition and in innovative technologies for battery and electric vehicle production. We will soon begin preparations for the next edition of E-Tech Europe, which will take place on April 22nd and 23rd, 2026, together with Battery Day. In the meantime, on October 8th and 9th, three other important events in the mobility sector will take place at BolognaFiere: E-Charge, the only fair in Europe entirely dedicated to the electric vehicle charging infrastructure supply chain; Traffic, the new Italian exhibition dedicated to urban mobility, traffic management and infrastructure; and Megawatt Day, the first Italian conference on HP, MCS and BESS charging systems.”
