DMEA is an annual trade fair and conference dedicated to digital health in Germany. It is organised by the German Association for Healthcare IT (bvitg e. V.) and, from 2027, will be held in Munich in collaboration with Messe München. The event is aimed at professionals from the healthcare sector, politics, academia and industry.

The DMEA was held in Berlin from 2019 to 2026. The 2026 edition was the last DMEA to be held in Berlin. From 2027 onwards, it will continue in Munich. The change of venue does not alter the identity of the event, but simply shifts the location and creates additional scope for growth, internationalisation and professional development.

The DMEA combines a trade fair and conference with networking opportunities. It is one of the leading industry events in the field of digital health and digital healthcare in Germany and Europe.

DMEA is Europe's leading event for digital health and the most important trade fair for digitalization in healthcare. As the industry's central meeting place, it brings together practice, IT, politics, and science. Every year, nearly 22,000 trade visitors attend, around 900 companies present their solutions, and around 550 speakers shape the congress program.
