      展会报告(Show Reports):

      MOMAD, the International Fashion, Footwear and Accessories Trade Fair organised by IFEMA MADRID, has concluded its July edition, confirming the positive reception of a trade fair model designed to anticipate the Spring/Summer 2027 collections and align with the industry's evolving buying cycles. Over three days, Hall 5 brought together a more specialised offering, featuring over 200 brands – including 50 new exhibitors – a strong international presence, and a highly professional visitor profile, focused on discovering products, establishing commercial contacts, and identifying business opportunities.

      This edition has demonstrated the potential of an event created to open Spain’s professional fashion calendar, successfully bringing together in a single venue a broad representation of brands – 60% of them Spanish – trends, content, and new business opportunities. The result was a dynamic trade fair, with constant activity across the exhibition spaces and a positive response from exhibitors, buyers, and professional visitors.

      A clearer visitor journey and a more segmented offering

      One of the most highly valued aspects of this edition was the new organisation of the exhibition offering, designed to make product discovery easier and improve the efficiency of the professional visitor experience. In this context, areas such as Focus Brands proved to be one of the most popular areas of the fair, thanks to the participation of brands such as Flabelus, CIRCU, The Bag Lab, Angie Vásquez, Surarquía, Barnet, De Flores y Floreros and Juan Pina Piel, all exhibiting at MOMAD for the first time.

      Another standout feature wasthe Best Sellers Area, strategically located within the visitor route and conceived to showcase products and collections with immediate commercial potential. Featured proposals included brands such as EMME, Ma Petite, Capsule, meta4, MIA, Calzados Victoria, Alhamas, Surkana, Meisïe & Skatïe, Opera Fashion, Alba Conde, Sonia Peña, Twins Fantasy, JJL, Tintoremus, and Top3. Likewise, the Conscious Boutique once again strengthened the presence of initiatives linked to sustainability, innovative materials, and responsible production. International buyers and business opportunities

      This edition also reinforced its international dimension through the Buyers Programme, which brought professionals from strategic markets across Europe, Latin America, North America, the Middle East, and Asia to the fair. The presence of buyers from countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Poland, the United States, Italy, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, and France helped generate new commercial opportunities for participating brands and further strengthened the professional nature of the event.

      This highly specialised visitor profile, with a clear interest in identifying new collections and establishing commercial relationships, was one of the most notable features of this edition. The Fair once again demonstrated its ability to connect product and business within a single space and will continue to strengthen this dimension in future editions. Fashion, talent and knowledge

      The programme of activities complemented the exhibition experience with a renewed Catwalk, which became a showcase of knowledge and the creative richness of the sector. From the identity and tradition of Uniendo Moda Castilla y León to the creativity of Málaga de Moda, the excellence of Canary Islands swimwear fashion, the colour and personality of proposals linked to flamenco fashion, and the international perspective provided by initiatives such as Romanian Designers, the catwalk reflected the full diversity of the sector.

      Alongside the fashion shows, MOMAD Talks received a positive response, with sessions focused on some of the industry’s key challenges, including artificial intelligence, brand building, sustainability, the circular economy, and the evolution of retail.

      With this first July edition, MOMAD has successfully validated a new format with a stronger product-focused approach. The next edition of the Trade Fair will take place from 4 to 6 February at IFEMA MADRID, alongside Bisutex and Intergift.
