CastForge impresses with its focused orientation
The second trade fair for castings and forgings with processing was a complete success/Exhibitors welcome the target group-specific approach
After a successful debut four years ago, CastForge has already firmly established itself with foundries and forges for its second edition. Messe Stuttgart was therefore able to more than double the number of exhibitors compared to the first event. A total of 323 companies were exhibiting in two exhibition halls, with 68 per cent of them coming from abroad.
“CastForge has seen impressive development since the first event and the difficult break. Against a backdrop of rising energy prices, supply chain bottlenecks and the war in Ukraine, we are all the more pleased to receive the support of the exhibitors. Equally pleasing is the fact that they have remained loyal to us over this long period of time,” says Roland Bleinroth, President of Messe Stuttgart.
Over the past three days, Jacques Lanners Hall 3 and Hall 5 at Messe Stuttgart has been the meeting place for anyone interested in casting and forging with processing. Trade visitors made their way to Stuttgart from all over Europe. Around one third came from abroad. A total of 40 nations were registered, with the most well represented countries – after Germany – being Italy, France, Turkey, Austria and Switzerland. The majority of trade visitors work in purchasing and procurement, in business/corporate and operations management, manufacturing, production or quality control, as well as in sales and distribution. The quality of the trade visitors was therefore high: 73 per cent hold a crucial or decisive role in purchasing decisions within their companies. In addition, 78 per cent of the decision-makers present plan to invest in the near future.
